I just bought a Wacom Graphire 3 drawing tablet and this was my first attempt at something with a version of Painter it came with. I used the Acrylics brush set to captured bristles the whole time.

This was something different for me since I've never really done painting or much coloring with real media, so having to approach it like real art rather than what I am use to in Photoshop with many layers was a learning experience. The only thing I did in Photoshop was add the slight lighting at the top to soften up the harsh black background. I've still got a lot to learn and improvement with my accurancy drawing with a tablet, it's like you're drawing drunk at first.

It's a gif timelapse of the drawing. I'd save an new file every so often when making a risky change or next step. So I took each save and created this timelapse.
If I had the full version of painter I think it records every stroke if you want and can save it, reopen it and watch it redraw the picture. Maybe this version of Painter has it, but I haven't looked.
