I can't seem to find any toys, plushes, anything, on Hugo and Rita. Searching on Google I've found a photo that a Hugo plush exists, but it seems to be impossible to find, and I bet they probably didn't do any Rita plushes.

So I wondered how feasible it would be to commission a custom plush, or ufo type Rita. I opened up Zbrush to make a simple plush body design with simple a ufo type face, just not as flat, to see how good it could look within those limitations. This is the result.

Then I wonder who I could commission. One of the best plush artists I found is here, just some amazing stuff: [link] But that artists is closed for commissions at the moment. I let that artists design her any way he or she wants.

Another artists on DA has some pretty nice ufo stuff and is actually doing one last call for commissions, and never again. I'm not sure if I'm too late. [link]

Though, I also had an upset last night on funds for something like this. I was leaving work and saw a ticket on my car. I thought no way, I parked at the end of the time limit period. California gave me a $99!!!!!!!! ticket for not having a front license plate!!!!!! They couldn't make it a fix-it ticket, nope, full violation.

Only reason I didn't have it on was due to about a year ago a plate was stolen, I got new plates, but I didn't have the screws for the front anymore. God, I even just thought about this last week. It didn't seem to be a big deal when literally 1 out of 4 cars on the roads had no front license plate or a cover. Damn, I guess I'll pay up and stop by an auto store today.

She usedto do plushie commissions for a reasonable price and they loked good as well. Thought I'm not sure if she is doing commissions at the moment.

I heard that they gave awake Hugo and maybe even Rita plushies as gift in some banks in Sweden or the Netherlands, but those are so rare that it's very hard if not impossible to get any.

I also think Rita would make a very adorable plush.
If you should have an artist make a plush of her, please post photos of it on da.

I'm patiently waiting. I heard the body is done and the head was next.

Also, look some posts below, by RodrevMcfox, he posted one of the Rita plushes he found. I've also seen a pretty large Hugo plush, pillow size. It was being used as a toy for a small dog named Hugo :)

Looks like fyuvix just favorited the Hugo and Rita drawing I commissioned PandaJenn to do, small world.

Ah, that's cool. I took a look at the plush RodrevMcfox has. I didn't know what to expect, but I was a bit disappointed. The plushie looks good, but I thought it would look cuter, especially her hair doesn't look good to me.

One of those difficult choices when going to 3D. Have real fur, or none, since a often a clay like lump of hair will be too distracting and unnatural.

Though, I don't know why they didn't have her fur color on model from the first two films. Where the lighter color only goes to her lower jaw, that was like one top features that made Rita distinct.

Who knows why they had the fur color go onto the upper lip. I did a Photoshop test with a still and it looked so much better the correct way. Actually, technically too, since it would have hidden the bad transition between the colors due to lack of real fur.
